It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rita Breau, 81, that occurred on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, at the Moncton Albert Hospice House.
Born in Robichaud, she was the daughter of the late Hypolite Bourque and the late Eva (Breau) Bourque.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters: Cindy Breau (Rick Arsenault) of Memramcook-Est, and Lisa Melanson (Mark) of Grand-Barachois; her sister, Frila Saulnier (Gerard) of Lewisville; her special friend, Alfreda Cormier of Shemogue; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, William; her two sisters: Delina LeBlanc (Yvon), and Emma Gallant (Emile); and by her four brothers: Emerie, Albert, Julien (Geraldine) and Edgar (Aline).
Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Thursday, March 27th, from 3:30 to 6:30 pm only, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 6:30 pm. Interment will be held in the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes parish cemetery in Memramcook-Est in spring.
Donations in memory of Rita can be made to the Moncton Albert Hospice House.
