  2. I remember my cousin Rita very well even though we always lived many miles apart.(Canada and USA). Our mothers were sisters and my mom often drove to Canada in the summers to visit. Such fond memories of playing on the farm with my cousins who were like sisters when we saw each other. Sad that miles prevented us from visiting more often. My memories of Rita and our fun times as kids is so precious.
In our adult years we saw each other (in Canada) several times. Showed pictures of our family and reminiscing of our childhood. Rita and Robert were so friendly and always shared Robert’s catch of lobsters!!!🦞
Our sincere condolences for this sudden passing but in heaven she rests with her Lord and all departed family she loved !

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Rita’s passing. We always enjoyed our short visits with her at the wharf and then in the garage. Our sincere condolences to the family.

  10. My deepest sympathy to her family. Rita was always very friendly to me,even though I did not see her often
as I lived in the United States. She surprised me with a book on the Leger family. which I still enjoy reading.
    May she rest in peace!

  11. I will always remember spending time with my Tante Rita, picking cherries in the back yard, and sitting around the table chit chatting and listening to her and my father Paul-Emile speaking French to one another. I wish we would have had the opportunity to spend more time together. Rest in peace and give my papa a big hug for me. Love Always
