Rita Girouard, 93, of Moncton passed away at the CHU Georges-L-Dumont in Moncton on Monday November 17, 2014. She was married to the late Ovila Girouard (1962).
Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and the late Eugenie (Girouard) Larcenaire.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Bernard and Raymond, both of Moncton, her step grandson, Maurice Philippe (Connie) of Moncton, her great granddaughters; Jennifer and Jessica (Colin), her great great granddaughter, Aurora, all of Alberta and several nieces and nephews.
Rita was the last surviving member of her immediate family, she was predeceased by her son, Romeo (1995), her sisters; Lina, Bella, Diana, Marie and Edna and her brothers; Theophile, Charles, Joseph, Francois and Armand.
At the family’s request there will be no visitations. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste RC Church in Bouctouche on Friday November 21, 2014 at 3:00pm.
In Rita’s memory a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Hospital Foundation.
The funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home in Bouctouche.
