Rita Hébert, 74, of Lakeburn, passed away on Monday, January 1st, 2007, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital.
Born in La Pocatière, QC, she was the daughter of the late Marcel and the late Victoire (née: Williams) Richard.
She retired from CARA Operations and was a member of Notre-Dame de Lorette Parish.
She is survived by her common-law husband, George Phinney; three daughters: Sylvina Hébert of Moncton, Yvette (Mike) LeBlanc of Riverview and Claudia (Normand) Pineau of Dieppe; three sons: Claude (Patsy), Clarence (Donna) both of Dieppe and France (Irene) of Grand-Barachois; three sisters: Jeanne d’Arc Chiasson, Sylvia (Ronald) Arsenault, both of Dieppe and Rose (Harvey) Samson of Ottawa; three brothers: Delphis (Anita) Richard, Odilon (Lorraine) Richard, both of Dieppe and Alex Richard of Bouctouche; 10 wonderful grandchildren as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alyre in 2000, two daughters: Louise and Geneva; one son, Camille; two sisters: Evangeline and Célanire and also by one brother Raymond.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Wednesday January 3rd, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn), on Thursday, January 4th, 2007 at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
