In Loving Memory Of
Rita LeBlanc
1925 - 2024

Moncton, NB – Peacefully and surrounded by her family, mom passed away on April 3rd at the age of 98 at Villa du Repos.

Born in St-Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Marie and Joseph Allain. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Francis; two infant brothers, her brother, Adélard; her sisters, Elmire and Jeannita.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: May (Edouard) Boudreau of Moncton; Lorette (late Doug) Brooks of Moncton; Claudette (late Roger) Boudreau of Dieppe; Paul (Lorraine) of Shediac Bridge; Fernand (Janet) of Dieppe; Françine (Jean-Guy) Dulong of Dieppe; Denise (Michel) of Memramcook; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria (late Donald) Léger of St-Antoine; Florence (late Elphege) Goguen of Cocagne; Yvonne Caissie of St-Antoine; Léa (Abel) Léger of St-Marie; sister-in-law Mariette (late Adélard) Allain of Massachusetts; many nieces and nephews as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Mom devoted her life to raising her family. Her role as a mother is lovingly emphasized by her unconditional love and sharing qualities of thoughtfulness, strength and generosity that also extended beyond her immediate family.

Rita loved spending time in her kitchen creating delicious meals for her family. When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found enjoying her trailer and the company of family and friends.

A woman of faith, she always kept her family and loved ones in her prayers and offered wisdom and words of encouragement. Her beautiful loving heart and kind soul will be etched in our hearts forever. Our beloved angel has received her wings.

Rita’s family extend a most sincere thank you to the staff and management of Villa du Repos for their incredible care, love and compassion for her and her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
