Rita Léger, 78, of West Lane , Moncton, passed away on Thursday, April 27th, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in St-Paul, NB, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and the late Léona (née: Doucette) LeBlanc.
Mrs. Léger was a retired teacher and a parishioner of Christ-Roi R.C.C.
She is survived by five sisters: Hélène (late Roy) Cormier of Toronto, Louise (late Albert) Roy of Bouctouche, Lorette (Charles) Ahern of Rothsey, Noëlla (Léo-Paul) Gautreau of Tolland, Conn and Marie (Conrad) Cormier of Dieppe; two brothers: Ernest (Edith) of St- Paul and John (late Mary) of South Windsor, Conn; her little sister from the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization, Rachelle (Marc) Doucet of Dieppe, one brother-in-law, Alyre LeBlanc of Bouctouche and a sister-in-law, Aurore LeBlanc of St-Antoine as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Dominique in 2001, two sisters: Sr Eveline n.d.s.c and Florence and also by two brothers: Eric and Georges.
There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be celebrated from Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church on Monday, May 1st, 2006 at 2 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
