Saint-Antoine, NB – Rita Marie Duguay, 84, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ulysse and the late Hélène Allain.
Rita will be sadly missed by her life partner: Ronald Richard of Fitchburg, Mass; her son: Jean-Pierre Duguay (Krista) of Notre-Dame; her brothers: Paul (Rose-May) of Saint-Antoine, Aldérice (late Laurise) of Moncton and Léonard (Janita) of Bouctouche; her grandchildren: Jean-Daniel Duguay and Natalie Gilkes (Rolland); her great grandchildren: Hailee, Alexia and Mia; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Didier Duguay; her son, Gilles and her grandson: Jean-Mathieu.
As per Rita’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Her remains will be placed at Passage Columbarium (3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge), where she will rest in peace with her son.
