Bouctouche, NB – Rita McDonald passed away on Friday July 1, 2022 at the Manoir Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche at the age of 93.

Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and the late Helene LeBlanc (Allain).

Rita will be sadly missed by her son Aldoria McDonald of Bouctouche; her four daughters: Simmone (Rhéal) Belliveau, Geneva (Euclide) Hebert, Joanne (late Jean-Paul) Daigle and Jasmine (Normand) Lirette all of Bouctouche; her brother Genereux (Sophie) LeBlanc of Richibucto; her three sisters: Elsie (Greg) Deslaurier, Anne-Marie (late Jean-Guy) Legere both of Bouctouche, and Andrea (Aldérie) Lison of Massachusetts, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Camille McDonald, as well as three brothers: Alfred, Alyre and Loronzo.

In respect of Rita’s wishes, there will be no visitation.
A funeral service will be held at Sainte-Anne RC Church on Wednesday July 13, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a reception at the Club d’Âge d’Or (25 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, NB) after the burial at the Bouctouche RC Church cemetery.
