Shediac, NB – Robert Arsenault, 75, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, August 26th, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Grande-Digue, he was the son of the late Jean and the late Almina Arsenault (nee Després).

Robert will be sadly missed by his three sons, Dan (Stuart Lawrence) of Riverview, Mike of Moncton and Kevin (Rachel Mallet) of Shediac; his three grandchildren, Chantal Clark (Matthew), Logan and Lucas; he was a great grandfather to Jaiden and his twin, late Cameron; his two brothers, Léonard (Diane) of Shediac and Roméo (Lilianne) of Richibucto; his three sisters, Fernande Savoie of Moncton, Juliette Goguen (late Ola) of Shediac River and Dorilla Vautour (Donald) of Shediac; his sister-in-law, Marguerite of Shediac; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and great grandson, Robert was predeceased by his wife, Beverly (nee Mills); four sisters, Sara (Albénie), Aurore (Stanley), Jeannette (Armand) and Florence; his baby brother, Roméo and two other brothers, Alderice (Eva) and Roger.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5 pm until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel at 7 pm.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
