Robert “Bob” Nowlan
1952 - 2024

Robert “Bob” Nowlan, 71, of Hillside View Special Care Home, Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, February 9th, 2024, at his residence.

Born in Lakeburn, NB, he was the son of the late Gerry and the late Irene (LeBlanc) Nowlan.

Bob had worked as a truck driver with Midland Transport.

He is survived by his sons: Pierre Nowlan (Diane) of Moncton and Marc Nowlan of St-Paul-de-Kent and by his grandchildren: Logan, Jenna and Brianna.

He was predeceased by his sister, Janice.

Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, from 10 am until noon only.

Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB in the spring 2024.

In Bob’s memory, a donation can be made to the NB Mental Health Association.

  1. So very sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. He and the Nowlan family were wonderful next door neighbours in Lakeburn.

  5. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Nowlan for several years when he lived on Botsford St. He always had great stories to tell. Very kind sweet man. He will be missed by all staff.

  7. Bob was a great friend when we were kids, we used to go hunting and fishing many times
    Bob was with me when I hooked my first salmon, I remember it well, we used to hang around in Bobs basement either shooting pellet guns, checking out the gals hanging around with Janice, like Beatrice, Mary Alice, Fran. Was great times, Gerry used to give me heck for being the bad kid. Sheesh, we were always bad kids.
    Great memories, had the opportunity to get together with Tube just before Christmas, glad I saw him there
