“Jake brought so much joy and laughter wherever he went! His musical abilities around a campfire was matched by none. His faith in Jesus shone through brightly. Please accept our sympathies for your entire family.
So sorry for your loss. Jake was a great guy. Always full of fun. I knew him from when he lived in Bathurst and went to the church I attended. He visited our family quite a bit (Blackmores). I pray for peace for the family. Sandra Bartlett (

Sincères condoléances à la famille
It is with a saddened heart that I extend my deepest sympathies to all of Roberts family.
Robert has been a big part in my life and was like a brother to me.
Condolences to the family and friends. R.I.P. Jake.
May, Boy, Marie, Emile.
I have been trying to find the right words to express my sympathies for Robert’s passing. May, you don’t really know me, I’m a cousin – Anita and Roland Metcalfe’s daughter. I want to let you know that I loved him very much. And that he’s in heaven now with Tante Eva, Uncle Jake and Claude.
May, I was the firstborn of my generation in this family of ours and spoiled by everyone in the family. Robert used to babysit me when my parents and grandparents went out together. I remember asking him once, to teach me to dance. We put music on and he tried, oh how he tried to teach me how to dance, hahaha. Later, he would take out his guitar and sing. As adults we were cousins, not as close but I was always happy to see him. May, this is the Robert I will remember in my heart. These are the words I would have told if I had been able to attend his funeral.
So sad to hear of Jake’s passing, yet glad to know he is with our Lord. Jake was a precious kind man. He was a huge help to us when we led the Pathway church in Moncton. Where he was an important part of our worship team. Many cherished memories of this precious man, and many lovely memories of Jake. Much love to Jake we’ll meet again. Rest easy our dear friend.
