Robert Goguen, age 57, of Cocagne, has passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his family, at his residence on Saturday August 23rd, 2008. Born in Cocagne on December 5th, 1950 he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Dora (Surette) Goguen.
Robert was employed at the Eric Goguen Sawmill, Cocagne until 1980 when he had a car accident and rendered him incapable of working.
He will be sadly mist by his common-law wife of many years, Huberte Boucher, two sisters; Simonne Pellerin (Valmond), Gloria Dupuis (Normand) both of Notre-Dame, two brothers; Albert (Irène), and Léonard (Evéline) both of Cocagne, and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church slumber room, Cocagne on Tuesday August 26, from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Pierre Church, Cocagne on Wednesday August 27th, 2008 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
