Cocagne, NB – Robert Richard, 51, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, on Monday, August 22, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Rexton, NB, he was the son of the late Aldéric and Mathilda (LeBlanc) Richard.
Besides his mother, Robert will be sadly missed by his wife, Elaine; his five brothers, Clarence Stever (Madelaine), Adam Stever, Kevin Vautour (Anne), Jason Stever all of St-Louis and Jimmy Stever of Acadieville; his five sisters, April Robichaud (Paul), Mabel Vautour (Antoine) both of St-Louis, Dorina Maillet (Jean-Paul) of Bouctouche, Wendy Arsenault (Eddie) of Moncton and Geneva Richard of St-Louis; also by his niece, Rose; his nephew, Charles and by several cousins aunts and uncles.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his biological mother, Anaise Stever.
Visitation will be held at La Grace Church, 41 Girouardville Rd, Bouctouche, on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 2:30 pm until time of funeral service. Funeral service will be held at La Grace Church, 41 Girouardville Rd, Bouctouche, on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation (Oncology) or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
