Roger A. Bourgeois

Grande-Digue – Roger Bourgeois, 79, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, July 12, after a short illness.
 
Born in Keene New Hampshire, USA on August 21st, 1931, he was the son of the late Charles and the late Emma (Collette) Bourgeois. 
 
He worked at Gerald Roy Ltd, now known as Bouctouche Bay Industries, he loved fishing, hunting, ATVing and he spent his retired winter months as an avid fan of his grandchildren activities.
 
Roger will be sadly missed by his wife, Mae (Richard) Bourgeois; his daughter, Lynn Richard (David) of Grande-Digue; four sisters, Elda Lagassé (Albert) of Dexter, Maine, Bernice Williams (Joe) of Lunenburg, Mass, Rena Roy (Rhéal) of Bedec and Esther Bastarache (Normand) of Fitchburg, Mass; his two grandchildren, Luc and Renée.
 
He was predeceased by two brothers, Oscar, Edmond and his sister Dorice.
 
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, July 14 from 2 to 4 pm and 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Thursday, July 14 at 7 pm. Interment in Passage Columbarium.
 
Donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
