It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger Arsenault, 70, on Friday, November 21st, 2025, surrounded by family, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Joseph and the late Geneva Arsenault (Cormier).
Roger will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Nicole; his daughters: Lise Arsenault-Campbell (Wilfred) of Hillsborough and Monique Arsenault (Alain Plourde) of Shippagan; his grandchildren, whom he adored: Ariana, Émilie and Noah; his brother, Robert Arsenault (late Lilianne) of Moncton; his sister, Germaine Bourgeois (late Francis) of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Arsenault (Iona); and his sister, Corinne Boucher (late Laurie).
Also, a special thank you to his sons-in-laws, Wil and Alain for
“taking care of his girls”.
Roger worked at the Dr. Georges-L.- Dumont University Hospital Centre in distributions for 38 years. He adored his grandchildren and took every opportunity to make them feel loved. Always wanting to help others, he was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a hand. A great carpenter who also worked with leather, he was truly a jack of all trades, able to fix or create just about anything. He loved spending time at his camper, where he found peace and joy, and he especially enjoyed playing poker.

A special thank you to Dr. Arsenault and Dr. Cyr, as well as the nurses and staff of unit 4C at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for the great care they provided.
Visitations will be held at Passage ~ Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, from 9:00am until 10:45am. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 11:00am.
Donations in Roger’s memory can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Roger was a man of great kindness and generosity, deeply devoted to his family and friends. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him, especially at the camper. Roger was always ready to lend a helping hand or brighten someone’s day with his jokes and laughter.

I got to know Roger when he and Nicole had a trailer at Sandy Beach and I remember his smile and always ready to help with projects and his easy going ways. My condolences to Nicole and family. Rest in peace.
