Moncton, NB – Roger “Chico” Cormier, 62, passed away suddenly, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Néri and the late Dianne Cormier (LeBlanc).

Roger will be sadly missed by his special friend: Lilianne Kervin; his brothers: Eric of Montreal and Robert of Moncton; his sisters: Nicole Orr of Riverview and Maria Mulnar. Roger is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and his in-laws.

As per request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.

A donation can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation (oncology).

  1. Saddened to hear of the passing of Chico, We recently got a Visit from him and we got to chat about all that was important in our lives. Glad he was apart of our lives, we will certainly keep him in our Hearts. We will always cherish him.

  2. So Sorry for your Loss! Thoughts and Prayers are with his family & friends. He was a kind, gentle person with a great sense of humour.

  3. He was a friend to the end. Even if we didn’t see each other for months at a time, we could always pick up where we left off. From the boys and girls club to hanging out after school, to shaing funny and serious stories along the years, Chico, you will always be in my heart. My sincerest condolences to Lilianne, family and friends, The heavens have gained an incredible angel. I hope you all find comfort, peace and love in all your cherished memories of him. RIP Chico. I will miss you.

  10. I want everybody to know that Chico (Roger) Cormier had and extended family of 4 sisters and 1 brother we are all saddened by his passing even if we where not told beforehand. I am his sister Pauline and I loved him very much and I am very saddened by his passing. WE ALL LOVED YOU AND MISS YOU. RIP CHICO AND REST WELL
