Roger Gallant
1932 ~ 2024

Roger Gallant, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10^th, 2024, at Shannex – Ocean Hall nursing residence in Moncton.

Born in Shediac, he was the son of the late Alphonse and the late Eleonore Gallant (Goguen).

Roger worked at CN for 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage during the summer and would spend the winter seasons in Florida as well as travelling.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise (John) Farrell of Dieppe; his sons: Claude (Mireille Lanouette) of Dieppe, Don (Rebecca) of Scoudouc, and Guy (Carol Ross) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren: Lynn, Jennifer (Mike), Chantal, François, Valerie, Madelaine (Ryan), Justin, and Daniel; his great grandchildren: Cameryn-Alia, Christian, Cayden, Lauren, Calder, and Alessandro; his brothers: Raoul (Gyslaine), Romeo (late Pat), and Louis; his sister, Lucille (late Leonard); his brother in law, Ola Bourque (late Estelle); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Rolande (Bourque) in 2023; as well as his siblings: Andrea (late Leonide), Germaine (late Alonzo), Maria, Angela (Terry), Thérèse (late Vern), Paul (Late Blanche), Leonce (Lea), Laure, and Camille.

Visitations will be held at Passage-Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Friday, September 20^th, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:00am. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 11:00am. Followed by the interment at the Saint-Anselme RC Parish Cemetery.
