Roger Henry LeBlanc

Cocagne, NB – Roger H. LeBlanc formerly of Moncton, passed away at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, February 12th, 2015.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Olivier and Elodie (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.

He was a veteran of WWII in the RCAF and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br #6. He retired from C.N.R. in 1982 with 41 years of service. Roger had a passion for the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and salmon fishing and time with his family at the camp and cottage.

Roger is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jeanne (Gueguen); his children, Dolores (Frank), Denis (Kay), Marc (Simone) and Anne (Maurice); his four grandchildren and his four great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his six brothers, Aldric, Alcide, Norman, Clarence, Paul and Romeo.

In keeping with Roger`s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-de-la-Paix RC Church, Moncton, on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11 am. Interment will be at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery in Dieppe at a later date.

In Roger’s memory donations may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
