Roger LeBlanc, 78, of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent, Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday November 12, 2017. He was married to Stella (Saulnier) LeBlanc. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Gélas and the late Marie (Saulnier) LeBlanc.
Roger was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and also loved any other sports.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Stella, his three children; Anita Boucher (Denis) of Bouctouche, Claudette LeBlanc and Maurice both to Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, his three grandchildren; Mélanie, Lise and Pauline and four great grandchildren; Rylee, Amalia, Zoey and Madison. He also leaves to mourn his brother Léo-Paul (Yvette) of Cocagne and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by one brother Alcide.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday November 15, 2017 from 7 to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday November 16, 2017 at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 7:00 pm with interment in the Sainte-Marie-de-Kent parish cemetery.
In Roger’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the family.
