Roger Marcoux, 55, of Moncton, passed away on Monday, June 26th, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Dalhousie, NB, he was the son of Thérèse (née: Doucet)and of the late Léo Marcoux.
Prior to his illness, he had been a foreman at Universal Truck and Trailer Sales. He was an avid gardener, a member of Ford Country Club and a parishioner at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C.C.
Besides his mother, Thérèse of Dalhousie, NB; he is survived by his wife, Thérèse (née: Mazerolle); one daughter, Manon (Trevor) Jones of Fort McMurray, AB; three sisters: Claudette (Rejean) Arseneault of St. Isidore, Ginette (Maurice) Leclerc of St. Leonard and Monique (Jean-Paul) Bergeron of Saint John; one brother-in-law, Donald Roy of Dalhousie; two grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Taylor as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Beside his father, he was predeceased by one sister, Diane.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Wednesday, June 28th, 2006 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 1 pm until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church (corner Murphy & Vail) on Thursday, June 29th, 2006 at 2 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
