Roger Melanson, 75, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges-L-Dumont UHC, on Saturday June 24, 2017. He was married to Rose-May (Leger) Melanson. Born in Cocagne, he was the son of the late John and the late Rita (Cormier) Melanson.
Prior to his retirement he was the owner of Roger’s Used Auto Body Parts.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Rose-May, his children; Anne Cormier (Gerald) of Saint-Antoine, Luc (Janice ) of Cocagne, his grandson, Samuel, two sisters; Jeannette Breau (Donald) of Grande-Digue, Linda Robichaud (Fernand) of Cocagne, two brothers;Rheal (Monique) of Cocagne, Maurice of Moncton and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Gloria.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, on Wednesday June 28, 2017 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45am. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Antoine Church, on Thursday June 29, 2017 at 11:00am.
In Roger’s memory a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Foundation.
