Dieppe, NB – Roger Richard, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 at the Moncton Albert House Hospice.
Born in Parkton, he was the son of the late Léondre Richard and the late Rose (Gallant) Richard.
Roger will be greatly missed by his daughter, Susan (Norman) LeBlanc of Grande-Digue; his six sons: Omer (Debbie) of Alberta, Armand of St-Philippe, Terry (Monique) of St-Philippe, Maurice (Thérèse) of Alberta, Peter of Moncton, Brian (Marie) of Moncton; his brother, Edgar; three sisters: Pauline Russell, Bertha Arsenault and Rita Cormier; his 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters: Albertine Despres and Jeannette Caissie; his half-brother, Francis Gallant; as well as his grandson, Jeremiah Richard unexpectedly at the young age of 43.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge on Saturday, December 10th, 2022 from 9:00am until time of service. Funeral service will take place in the chapel at 11:30am.

Heartfelt condolences to Uncle Roger’s family both near and far. He raised a large family, which gave me lots of great cousins. My memory of Uncle Roger was his love of music and how he made me laugh when he visited my mom and dad (Edgar and Doris) at their house. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time
