Born in Shediac, NB, he was the son of the late Conrad Maillet and Doris Maillet (LeBlanc).

Roland will be sadly missed by his mother Doris Maillet (Gerald LeBlanc) of Moncton, NB, by his sister, Joanne Girouard (Fernand) of Dixon-Point, NB; by his two brothers, Gilles Maillet of St. André-LeBlanc, NB and Charles Maillet of Moncton, NB; he is also survived by his three nephews, Ronald, Corey and Jeremy; by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides by his father, Conrad Maillet (1976), Roland was predeceased by his brother, Ronald (1976).

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Thursday, March 3rd, 2016, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm until time of the service that will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge at 7:00pm.
