Bouctouche, NB – Rolande Doiron, 57, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, August 24, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Rexton, NB on December 25, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Benoit and Irène Richard.
Besides her mother, she will be sadly missed by her husband, Jean-Paul Doiron; her two daughters, Danielle Francis (Frank) and Rachelle Doiron-Boucher (Marcel) both of Dieppe; her brother, Léonce Richard (Linda) of Billerica, Mass.; her sister, Thérèse LeBlanc (George) of Bouctouche; her two grandson, Samuel and Gabriel; also by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, August 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 12:30 pm until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 2 pm. Burial will take place at the Passage columbarium.
Donation to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation (Neurosurgery Dept.), House of Nazareth and the Greater Moncton SPCA or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
