Romeo Leger
1953 - 2023

Romeo Leger, 70, of St-Damien, NB, passed away on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.

Born in St-Damien, NB, he was the son of the late Gerard and the late Alvina (Cormier) Leger.

Prior to his retirement, Romeo worked as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannita (LeBlanc) Leger; by his sons: Lenny (Rose-Marie Caissie) of McKees Mills and Reggie of St-Damien; by his grandchildren: Nick, Jasmine and Sam; by his two great granddaughters; by his sisters: Rosa Maillet (late Gerard) of St-Damien, May Saulnier (Emery) of Dieppe and Carole Belliveau (Lenny) of St-Damien; by his brothers: Martin Leger (Geraldine “Gerry”) of Miramichi and Oris Leger (Nicole) of Notre-Dame, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Ella and  by his brother, Roger.

Visitation will be held from Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023, from 2 pm to 3:45 pm, followed by the service in the chapel at 4 pm.
