Romeo Cormier of Grand-Barachois passed away peacefully on Thursday,October 05, 2023 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre at 11:55 AM.
He was the only son of late Ovila Cormier and Late Albertine (Gallant)Cormier.
He will be missed dearly by his sisters: Carmella Dupuis (late Thomas) of Shediac Cape, Rachelle Dupuis (late Paul Cormier) of Shediac River, and Marcia LeBlanc (Ronald) of Dieppe.
Romeo worked for 35 years as a consultant at Moncton Detox Centre. He was a very athletic man, always running and jogging etc., almost to the end until his sickness took over. He was a beach lover and spent his days at Parlee Beach and Pointe du Chêne wharf. He also loved playing on his guitar and composing songs. He was also an avid fan of CJSE “ Parle, Parle, Jase, Jase” and often called in to give his opinion.
Romeo also leaves behind his nephews, nieces, and cousins, as well as many special friends.
Rest in Peace, Dear Romeo! Thank You for being our brother. We will never forget the good times. So, farewell to you, my friend, until we meet again!
If you miss me, look at the moon and I will be watching over you. Always remember, I am free from pain now!
