Cocagne, NB – Ronald Babineau, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Delphis and the late Eveline Babineau (Richard).
Ronald will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Linda Babineau (Goguen); his children: Gisèle Babineau (Kenneth “Ross” McCart) of Dieppe, Monique Babineau Després (Richard Després) of Leominster, Mass, Paul Babineau (late Norma) of Mass, Lucille Charman (Robert “Bob”) of Moncton and Nadia Langille (Chris) of Riverview; his sisters: Bertha Cormier (late Edouard) of Bouctouche and Jeannita Cormier (late Paul) of Mass; his grandchildren: Scott & Kayla, Aϊcha, Malik, Maxime, Rebecca, Ella and Logan: his great granddaughter: Aubrianna; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents: he was predeceased by his brothers: Edgar (late Rita), Mederic (Rhéa), René (late Elizabeth), Hervé (Pauline), Normand (5 years old) and his sister: Edith (late Félix).
As per request, there will be no public visitation. Funeral mass will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne, on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 3pm.
In Ronald’s memory, a donation can be made to the Parish of Cocagne, “Boîte à Lunch de l’École Blanche-Bourgeois” in Cocagne or to a charity of your choice.
