In Loving Memory Of
Ronald Bourque
1930 - 2022

Shediac, NB – Ronald Bourque, 91, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton on Thursday, January 20th, 2022.  

Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Johnny Bourque and the late Joséphine Bourque.  

Ronald was a hard worker, he worked at Swift for 25 years, he was also fishermen for some times as well as an entrepreneur, but Ronald truly dedicated his life to his loving wife and children to whom he was selfless. He loved telling stories and to speak with everyone.

Ronald will be sadly missed by three sons, Ernest (Ernie) Bourque (Diane) of Grande-Digue, Clarence Bourque of Hamilton, ON and Sylvio Bourque (Denise) of Moncton; two daughters, Lucie Dupuis (Alec) of Grand-Barachois and Linda Boudreau (Michael) of Charlottetown, PEI; two sisters, Antoinette Boudreau (late Rufin) of Cap-Pelé and Victorine Vautour (late Lionel) of Moncton; seven grandchildren, Émile, Marc, Chantal, Isabelle, Jaëlle, Joey and Gina; eleven great-grandchildren, Monica, Mélanie, Matthieu, Stéphanie, Venessa, Chloé, Charm, Alexie, Jada, Lily and Owen; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by the love of his life of 44 years of marriage and who he shared five children with, Marceline Bourque; Ronald was fortunate to found love a second time with May Maillet who he spent 23 years of marriage; four brothers, Dollard, Yvon, Roger and Elysé; four sisters, Rita, Anita, Ozélie and Irène; as well as his grandson, Gretzky.

Visitations will be held from Passage Funeral Chapel of Shediac Bridge on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 from 9am until 10:40 am. The Funeral service will follow the same day at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church of Grande Digue at 11am.

Donation can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

  2. Mes plus sincères condoléances à toute la famille. Je tiendrais des super bonne mémoire de Ronald!!! Je suis là fille de Jean-Marie et Gisèle, j’allais souvent visiter ma grand-mère May et Ronald.

  3. Nos sincères sympathies à Ernie, Lucie, Clarence, Linda et Sylvio ainsi qu’à tous les autres membres de la famille de Ronald. On le voyait de temps en temps lorsqu’on pouvait aller visiter les sœurs d’Ola (Linda & Yvette) et on avait des bonnes conversations de parenté.
