Ronald Fougère
1937 - 2022

Ronald Fougère, 85, passed away on Friday, December 9th, 2022, at the Villa Providence in Shediac.

Born on Shediac Island, NB, he was the son of the late Frank and the late Regina (Boucher) Fougère.

Prior to retirement, M. Fougère was a carpenter. He enjoyed camping and loved to play cards “200” with his many friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Joanne LeBlanc (Reginald) of Cap-Pelé; his grandchildren: Rebecca, Jenna, Merisa and Liam; his girlfriend of 23 years, Bernice Leger; his brother, Roger Fougère (late Dorine) of Shediac Bridge; his son-in-law, Brendon Briggs of Alberta, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Catherine (Cormier) Fougère; his daughters: Claudette Fougère in 1967 and Gisele Briggs in 2022; his sisters: Lina Fougère, Alice Leger (Joseph), Rita Leger (Léandre) and Jeanne Fougère and by his brothers: Léandre Fougère (Emilie), Robert Fougère (Ethel), Clarence Fougère (Maria), René Fougère (Généva), Willie Fougère (Edna) and Fred Fougère.

At his request there will be no visitation and funeral service.

In Ronald’s memory, a donation can be made to the Providence Foundation.
