1954 ~ 2023

Ron Basque, 69, of Moncton passed away peacefully at Maison Albert House Moncton Dec. 10, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Ron will be sadly missed by his daughter, Christine Robichaud (Michel Boucher), sister, Patsy (Dick), brothers, Robert (late Cheryl), Gerry (Rita), Vince (Nancy) & Paul; sister-in-law, Joanne; 1 granddaughter, Nosika and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Charles & Maria (Vautour); brother Roger and nephew Stephane Basque.

Ron spent his final years as part of the People’s Park Tower community where he developed many close friendships. He was known for his kindness, generosity and sense of humour. Ron made peace with God about his past and found comfort through his prayers.

Special thanks to the staff & volunteers of Maison Albert House whose kindness and compassion meant the world to the family.

Thanks to Dr. Michael Peters, Dr. LeBlanc (Emergency) and Cindy; Staff Moncton hospital 4200 Oncology; Extra Mural & Nurses/staff of People’s Park Tower Wellness Center and the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy who attended to his care during his brief illness.

Thanks also to: Dr. Guy LeBlanc & Valerie; who were integral to Ron’s overall health these last years. Our thanks to you all for your compassion and support.

At Ron’s request there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be in the family plot with his parents at Our Lady of Calvary cemetery.
