Ronald I. LeBlanc, 85, of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at home on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was married to Clara (Belle-Isle) LeBlanc. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Isidore and the late Léa (Boudreau) LeBlanc.
Ronald served as a volunteer fireman in Bouctouche for 45 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Clara, his three children; Denise Daigle (Rhéal), Roland (Phyllis) and Bernard (Réjeanne Hébert) all of Bouctouche; his four grandchildren; Jean-Denis, Jérémie, Margo, Cédric and two great grandchildren; Sophia and Jesse. He also leaves to mourn his brother Jean-Félix (Roberte) of Grand-Barachois and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by five sisters; Georgine, Aldéa, Dorice, Roséline and Dorilla and three brothers; Alcide, Alphonse and Léopold.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Thursday December 21, 2017 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche, on Friday December 22, 2017 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Ronald’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT Foundation.
