Moncton, N.-B. – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Richard, 79, on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.
Born in Richibucto-Village on May 7th, 1944, he was the son of the late Dollard Richard and the late Rosée (Allain) Richard.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Ronalda (Jaillet) Richard; his two sons: Daniel (Tina) and Serge both of Moncton; his daughter, Rita (Tom) Richard of Moncton; his four grandchildren: Pierre, Denis, Jeremie and Mark; his two great grandchildren: Cameron and Lliam; his brother, André (Marguerite) of Moncton; his three sisters: Lucille (late Charlie) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Jacqueline (late Albert) of Richibucto and Bernice (late Roger) of Montreal; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his three brothers: Leo-Paul, Armand, and Emile; and by his two sisters: Carmelle and Juliette.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Richibucto-Village parish cemetery.
