RONALD ROBERT LEBLANC

Ronald Robert LeBlanc, 75, of Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.

Born in Halifax, NS, he was the son of Lina (Babineau) and the late Ola J. LeBlanc.

Ron attended and graduated from Moncton High School in 1965. He later attended the NBCC – Saint John, studying in Construction Electricity. Ron was employed by CN Rail as an electrician for 28 years until his retirement in 1995. He continued working, driving school buses for Laidlaw / First Student in the Memramcook and Moncton area, until very recently; Ron was driving Motor Coaches for Coach Atlantic / Maritime Bus. He was an enthusiast to all things to do with the Rail industry, while also being an avid rider and admirer of vintage motorcycles. Ron was also a member of the Knight of Columbus, 3rd degree (council # 1310).

Ron was predeceased by his father, Ola J. Leblanc and his brother, Norbert LeBlanc.

He is survied by his loving wife of 48 years, Rita (Richard) LeBlanc; his mother, Lina (Babineau) LeBlanc; his mother-in-law, Eva Richard; his daughter, Julie Dickie (Caleb); his grandchildren: Colten and Amelia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins both in Canada and United States, as well as his sister’s and Brother’s in law: Florine, Camille (Rejeanne), Cecile and Paulette.

 

 Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901), on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm only.

A Celebration of the Word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at 11 am.

 

Interment in Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe.

Au centre hospitalier universitaire Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le mercredi 11 décembre 2019, à l’âge de 75 ans, est décédé Ronald Robert LeBlanc. Il demeurait à Dieppe au Nouveau Brunswick.
Né à Halifax, N.-É., il était fils de Lina (Babineau) et de feu Ola J. LeBlanc.

Avant la retraite, Mr LeBlanc avait travaillé au CN. Il était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb, 3ième degré (conseil #1310).

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 48 ans, Rita (Richard) LeBlanc; sa mère, Lina (Babineau) LeBlanc; sa belle-mère, Eva Richard; sa fille, Julie Dickie (Caleb); ses petits-enfants: Colten et Amelia; plusieurs oncles, tantes, neveux, nièces, cousins et cousines aux Canada et aux Étas-Unis, ainsi que ses belles-sœurs et beaux-frères: Florine, Camille (Rejeanne), Cecile et Paulette.

Son père, Ola J. LeBlanc ainsi que son frère, Norbert LeBlanc, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le vendredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h seulement.

Une célébration de la parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le samedi 14 décembre 2019 à 11h.
