RONALDA “DEDA” POWER

Ronalda “Deda” Power, 93, of Villa Providence, Shediac, NB and formerly of Heritage Court, Moncton, NB, passed away on Thursday, December 20th, 2007 at her residence.

Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Anselme and the late Marguerite (née: Belliveau) Jaillet.
Deda graduated from Sainte Justine Hospital in Montreal in 1935, and worked at several hospitals throughout New Brunswick. She continued her career in nursing as a Public Health Nurse in the Moncton Schools, initiated by the Moncton Board of School Trustees and later the New Brunswick government.

She is survived by one son, John Robert(Maureen) Power, Q.C. of Ottawa, ON as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, William G. Power; five sisters: Rita, Andréa, Aline, Marie-Paule and Irène and also by two brothers: Father Cléo and Gérard.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at Cathérale Notre-Dame de l’Assomption, on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 2 pm.
Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB
