Rosa Melanson, 69 of Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital University Centre, Moncton on Monday January 28th, 2013. Born in Memramcook East, she was the daughter of the late Fred and the late Rosanne (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 50 years, Clarence Melanson, her three sons; Terry of Fort McMurray, AB, Michel (Nicole) of Notre-Dame, Kevin (Sylvie) of Moncton, three grandchildren; Lisa, Julie and Serge and two great grandchildren; Noah and Josiane. She also leaves to mourn four sisters; Ella Gould, Annie Melanson, Yvonne LeBlanc (Delbert) all of Moncton, Adrienne LeBlanc of Rogersville, a special friend, Oniva Melanson and several nieces and nephews.
Rosa was predeceased by one sister; Lucie and five brothers; Camille, Romuald, Joe, Henri and Jimmy.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, on Thursday January 31st, 2013 from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Paul Church on Friday February 1st 2013 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Rosa’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation “Oncology Unit”.
