Moncton (formerly of Grande-Digue), NB — Rosaline “Rose” Hébert, 73, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, April 20, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her loving daughters.
Born in Saint-John, NB, she was the adopted daughter of the late Arthur and the late Alice Hébert (born Gallant).
Rose was a devoted member of the Lakeville Lions Club, a past volunteer at Passage Funeral Co-operative. She loved people and was always willing to help, she loved to dance, sing and have fun with her friends until the end.
Rose will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Alice Reader (Paul) of Meadow Brook, Gloria Cogswell (Peter) of Fredericton and Marise Caissie (Jean-Claude) of Moncton; her grandchildren, Melissa, Danielle (Luke), Joshua and Kelvin; her great grandchildren, Angelica, Rae, Isabelle, Vera and Ruby; she is also survived by the father of her three wonderful daughters, Adrien Poirier; her very special friend, David LeBlanc; her precious niece, Ruth Poirier and nephew, Aubrey Jr. LeBlanc whom she grew up with and loved with all her heart; also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased her brother, Aubrey and her two sisters, Marie and Rosalie (Aurèle).
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the date and hours of visitations and funeral service will be announced at a later date.
Donations in Rose’s memory, can be made to the Greater Moncton SPCA or to a charity of your choice.
