Dieppe, NB – Rose-Anne, 86, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 3, 2014. She was a resident of the Residence Bellevue in Dieppe.

Born in Baie-Ste-Anne, NB on May 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George and Isabelle (Martin) Duplessis.

Rose will be sadly missed by her seven daughters, Aileen Astle (Wyatt) of Cambridge, ON, Rita Renouf (Gary) of ON, Margie Freeborn (Mike) of Hamilton, ON, Thérèse Robichaud of Napan, NB, Linda Beaudin (Charles) of Douglastown, NB, Georgina Mazerolle of Miramichi, Natanya Riley (Marc) of Moncton; her four sons, Léonard Mazerolle (Lucie) of Baie-Ste-Anne, Paul Mazerolle (Sheila) of Miramichi, Danny Mazerolle of Moncton and Richard Losier of Riverview; her three sisters, Georgina Lirette (Albert) of Dieppe, Grace Tardif (Pierre) of Moncton, Isabelle Allain (Jean) of Bouctouche Bay; her six brothers, Elias Duplessis (Délima) of Bouctouche, Jack Duplessis (Zita) of St-Antoine, Roger Duplessis of Moncton, Marc and Gerry Duplessis of Baie-Ste-Anne and Telesphore (Jeannine) of Black River Bridge, NB; also by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Auguste Mazerolle; her second husband, Alyre Poirier; three daughters, Simonne, Dianne, Melvina; two sons, Vincent and Reggie; three brothers, Arthur, Melvin and Aubé.

In respect to Rose’s wishes, there will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral service for family and friends will be held at Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, April 8 at 3:30 pm. Interment will take place at a later date at the Elmwood Cemetery in Moncton.
