ROY CORMIER

Roy Cormier, 67 of Port Dover, ON, passed away on Sunday, September 5th 2010, with his loving family at his side at the Norfolk Hospital, Simcoe, ON.

Born in Egmont Bay, PEI, he was the son of the late Tilmon and the late Angeline (née: Blanchard) Cormier.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Cormier worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by five sisters: Lorraine Cormier, Florence (André) Dupuis and Yvette (Paul) Gosselin, all three of Dieppe, Della (Raymond) Hébert of Moncton and Linda (Gerald) Godin of Saint John; three brothers: Raymond (Jeannette), Ernest and Louis, all three of Moncton as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one nephew, Christopher Cormier.

Visitation will be held at the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Saturday from 9 am until time of funeral.

Funeral service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, September 11th 2010, at 11 am.

Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

À l’Hôpital  Norfolk de Simcoe, ON, entouré de sa famille, le dimanche 5 septembre 2010, à l’âge de 67 ans, est décédé Roy Cormier, il demeurait à Port Dover, ON.

Né à Egmont Bay, I.-P.-E., il était fils de feu Tilmon et de feu Angeline (née: Blanchard) Cormier.

Avant sa retraite, M. Cormier avait travaillé comme camionneur.

Il laisse dans le deuil cinq soeurs: Lorraine Cormier, Florence (André) Dupuis et Yvette (Paul) Gosselin, toutes trois de Dieppe, Della (Raymond) Hébert de Moncton et Linda (Gerald) Godin de Saint-Jean; trois frères: Raymond (Jeannette), Ernest et Louis, toutes trois de Moncton ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nieces.

Outre ses parents, un neveu, Christopher Cormier l’a précédé dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le samedi de 9h jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.

Les funérailles auront lieu à la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le samedi, 11 septembre 2010, à 11h.

L’inhumation au cimetière Notre-Dame du Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.

Un don à la la Société Canadienne du Cancer serait apprecié par la famille.
