Rudi Saueracker, 62, of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born and baptised in Timmins, ON; he was the son of Doris (née: Rivers) and the late Heinrich Saueracker.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Saueracker had worked as a Communication Research Operator “291” for the Canadian Armed Forces and was also a master cabinet maker. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church; the Dieppe Veterans; Amateur Radio Community; Farmall Cub Tractor Community, Sida-Aids Moncton and followed local Politics.
He is survived by his mother, Doris of Ottawa; his wife, Emilie LeBlanc; his children: Duane of Moncton, Sabrina (Stéphane) Beaulieu of Gibbons, AB, Samantha and Amanda, both of Moncton and Kristina of Dieppe; his sister, Cristel of Ottawa; his brothers: Randy (Laura) of Edmonton and Leonard of Ottawa; one granddaughter, Abbigail; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Heinrich; his sister, Marlene and his brother, Ronald (MARCH 3RD, 2017).
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, (857-1901) on Tuesday from noon until time of service.
Funeral service will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at 2 pm, with Pastor David Milette officiating.
The Dieppe Veterans will hold a prayer service Tuesday at noon.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or Sida-Aids Moncton would be appreciated by the family.
A scent free environment is requested by the family.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa mère, Doris d’Ottawa; son épouse, Emilie LeBlanc; ses enfants: Duane de Moncton, Sabrina (Stéphane) Beaulieu de Gibbons, AB, Samantha et Amanda, toutes deux de Moncton et Kristina de Dieppe; sa soeur, Cristel d’Ottawa; ses frères: Randy (Laura) d’Edmonton et Leonard d’Ottawa; une petite-fille, Abbigail; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son père, Heinrich; sa soeur, Marlene et son frère, Ronald (3 MARS, 2017) l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le mardi de midi jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.
Les funérailles auront lieu en la chapelle de la maison funéraire Chartersville, le mardi 7 mars 2017, à 14h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame du Calvaire, Dieppe.
Aux lieux de fleurs, un don à la Fondations des Maladies du Cœur du Nouveau-Brunswick ou Sida-Aids Moncton serait apprécié par la famille.
