Dieppe, N.-B. – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Samantha, 23 years old, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.  

Samantha was born in Moncton, on July 30th, 1999.  

Full of life, jokes and the love of her many “boyfriends” Sam always knew how to lift the spirit of anyone in need. Sam enjoyed spending time with family, camping, listening to music, and she never turned down a great MacDonald’s date.

She will be sadly missed by her parents: Anne-Mary “Loulou” LeBlanc and Daniel Petitpas; her maternal grandmother: Ernestine LeBlanc and her paternal grandmother: Jacqueline Petitpas; her godmother: Ashley and her special cousin: Tyson. She will also be missed by several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  

She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather: Raymond LeBlanc and by her paternal grandfather: Marcel Petitpas; and by her godfather: Paul.

Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault St. in Dieppe NB. (506) 857-1901, on Saturday December 17, 2022, from 1pm to 3pm followed by a celebration of Samantha’s life at 3pm.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the family.

  26. Although we didn’t get to know Sam as well as others, we know she was very much loved by very many. We do understand and sympathies at the loss of a child. A burden not meant to be beared by the parents. Time will pass, healing will come and the memories of Sam will forever be in your hearts.

I will never forget the time and memories we shared, I will always hold them so close to my heart. You were such a special girl and I am extremely sorry this is how the story ends..
