Sarah LeBlanc
1934 ~ 2023

Moncton, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sarah LeBlanc, 89, that occurred at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on October 12th, 2023. 

Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Leandre Williams and the late Anna (Melanson) Williams.  

She was a proud Acadian, and she loved music, especially the old songs, and fiddle music. She was a woman of faith, and a devoted catholic. 

She will be sadly missed by her son, Aldoria LeBlanc of Saint-Philippe; her daughter, Dorine (Deverne) Steeves of Salisbury; her three grandchildren: Charlene Caissie (Susan), Willis (Cathy  ) Steeves, and Nicole Cousineau; great grandchildren: Alexandre, Alexi, Emily, and Zachary; her two sisters: Ida (late Peter) Laube and Catherine (late Tilmon) Brun both of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.   

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard LeBlanc (October 6th, 1995); her grandchild, Grant Steeves; as well as her three brothers: Henri, Raymond, and Emile.  

Visitation will be held from Passage Funeral Cooperative, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge,

NB, 506-532-1050, on Thursday, October 19th, 2023, from 7 to 9 pm, and on Friday, October 20th, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service will

follow at 4 pm at the Passage Funeral Chapel.

In Sarah’s memory, donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society,

 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

  3. So sorry to hear about this. Sarah was the nicest lady you could ever meet. She loved music and was so proud of all her family. I loved hearing all the stories she told of traveling across the country with her husband back in the day. We all will miss you Sarah. Very happy to get to know you.
