I am so sorry to read about the passing of your mother…. Shirley was always really nice to my Mother & all of us as we were growing up & Cindy did some babysitting for Mom as well…. Shirley is the one who pierced my ears when I was a young girl, she used a needle from Dr. Kenny’s office and a darn potato….. you know, I have never ever had an infection!!! I think of her often when somebody asks me where I got my ears pierced… fond memories…. She knew what she was doing & she always found a way to boost my confidence, God bless her….. May she rest in piece….
My prayers are with all of you….
I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Shirley’s passing. I have so many fond memories of us playing cards, get-togethers, my brothers playing music that Shirley, so loved. Shirley had such a great sense of humor, compassion and love for other’s. Shirley was truly God’s, Angel here on earth. I will miss her dearly. Prayers to the family and God Bless

My deepest sympathy to the family.Shirley was a beautiful soul and it showed. She had the biggest smile and a wonderful sense of humour. She lit up the room. Her presence will be felt, she had a strong personality, and that will always be here.
Shirley was a beautiful woman who inspires others to find the happiness in their own lives and push past the BS. Knowing her, even though there were only a hand full of times where we spoke one to one, has had a huge impact on my life, and I know has made an impact on many people’s lives. Her passing is so sad, but I’m glad to have the memories and lessons Shirley has given me, because it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.
I send my deepest condolences to her family, friends, acquaintances, and kitty cat. I know you must be so sad, but are probably also resilient from having Shirley as in influence in your life.
Shirley, I hope you are having fun in heaven!!!
Shirley will be missed and remembered. My heart is heavy as another friend has passed. My sympathy to you young people and to June and Carol too..
My dear Shirley shall be remembered with love for many, many years to come. My first memories of her are as being Dr. Kenny’s secretary. I would take over small payments for my Mom’s acct in the days before medicare or pick up prescriptions from the office. Shirley always had time to talk to me, asking about school and just taking an interest in me – a small girl going on an errand for her mother. She always seemed so interested in my meager life and my personal world. <3
I have always loved Shirley and whenever we met, it brought joy to my heart and mind. She had a way of making me feel special, even as an adult and as I write this I am shedding a tear (or more) for someone who made a difference in my life. Your mom is forever in my heart. Love you, Shirley and I will see you again some day. Love, Cindy

I just got word of Shirley’passing. I am so saddened at this news. Many of my formative years were spent at Shirley’s home hanging out with Blair. She was non-judgmental of some of our poor teen choices, and often imparted some simple but profound logic to our daily struggles. Shirley was tough, but fair, and most often let things roll off her back, not wasting time worrying about the pettiness and trivial concerns of the misinformed.
She was our rock in an often confusing and challenging world for young people. She will be greatly missed.
Nancy and my heartfelt love and condolences to Dean,Cindy, and Blair.
