Saint-Antoine, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Simone Arsenault, 78, that occurred on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at the Moncton Hospital.

Born in Shediac River on January 17th, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Désiré Boucher and the late Rita (Bourque) Boucher.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Arsenault; her two sons: Alain (Lenny Clodore), and Yves (Janie Bastarache) both of Saint-Norbert; her three brothers: Léonard (Linda) of Florida, Charles (Jeannette), and Bernard both of Shediac River; her four sisters: Denise Boucher-Maury (Serge) of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, Dorine Cormier (Edgar) of Saint-Paul-de-Kent, Francine Boucher (Tom), and Nicole Léger (Adrien) both of Shediac River, and Jeannine Vienneau (late Denis) of Shediac; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her three sisters: Claudette (Laurie), Marie-Thérèse (Ronald), and Hélène (late Hervé); and by her brother, Danny (Jeannine).

Visitation and funeral service will be private and held at a later date. Interment will be at La Visitation parish cemetery in Grande-Digue.
