Stanley A. Cormier
1947 ~ 2021

Moncton, NB – Stanley ” Stan ” Cormier, 74, passed away on November 11th, 2021 at the Albert House Hospice.

Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of late Tilman and Elva Cormier (Como).

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Maria Cormier; his children: Christopher, Nicole (Shane) and Michael (Natalie). He was a proud grandfather to Justin, Emma, Asher and Kylie. He also had three brothers: Duane and his wife Helen are deceased, Ken (Donna) and Tim.

His love for cooking started at a young age. This passion led him on a fifty + year journey from CN Rail, Marine Atlantic, Dorchester Penitentiary and the Moncton City Jail. Throughout his life he made numerous close friends who touched his life and put up with his sense of humour. He was a member of the Lions Club and a Knight of Columbus. He will be remembered by many.

The family has chosen not to have visitation and a service at the funeral home.

Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
