Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB – Stella Cormier, 65, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, January 12, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
Born in St-Louis-de-Kent, NB on January 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late Bertha (Robichaud) Babin.
Stella will be sadly missed by her two sons, Bruce (Monique Bourque) of Memramcook and Kevin of Ste-Marie; her three brothers, Antoine of St-Antoine, Ted (Lorette) of Aldouane and Jean (Alice) of St. Petersburg, Florida, USA; her sister, Thérèse Melanson (Laurie) of Waltham, Mass; her brother-in-law, Alcide Cormier of Bouctouche; her special friend, Rhéal Richard of Notre-Dame; her grandson, Devin; also by several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul (2011); one sister, Jeannette.
Visitation will be at the Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel RC Church slumber room in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 11 am until time of the funeral at 12:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the family or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
