Stella Gallant

Moncton, NB – Long before her time and with sadness, we announce the death of Stella Marie Gallant (Ball) of Moncton NB, on Friday, April 27, 2018, born in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton the youngest child of the late Keith and Bertha Ball (nee Carey). She was a loving honest woman, kind & generous with her time, she laughed often.

A graduate of Riverview Rural High School 1978 in Sydney River, Cape Breton and an employee of Medavie Blue Cross, Moncton NB.

Surviving are her loving husband of thirty-one years and best friend, Adrian Gallant, Moncton, NB, brother, Jed Ball (Valerie) Ball’s Creek, CB, sisters-in-law Anne Ball, Ball’s Creek, CB and Marie Kacevychius, Sydney, NS, brothers-in-law, Al Law, New Glasgow, NS and Jack Gillis, Ball’s Creek, CB, as well as many generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Great friends, her goddaughters & colleagues will miss her too.

As well as by her parents, Stella was preceded in death by brothers, Alphonse, Stuart, J. Gerard (in infancy) Charlie, Joseph, sisters, Bernice (Necey), Louise and nephew, Wayne.

She loved life, had a deep faith and was at peace with her destiny. She was a stand-up woman, who lived her truth. Her soul is free, and she is sashaying about the universe.

A service will be held at Saint Bernard’s RC Church, 43 Botsford, Street, Moncton, NB, on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2:00pm with a reception to follow in the church centre. Family flowers only.
