Waltham, MA (originally from Cocagne) – Stella Melanson, 84, passed away peacefully at the Wingate at Sudbury, in Sudbury, MA, on Friday, June 7, 2019.
Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and the late Rose Goguen.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Donna Melanson Leger; her grandson, Richard; her brothers, Armand Goguen (Simonne) of Moncton, Lévi Goguen (Andréa) of Cocagne and Adelyre Goguen (Janice) of Moncton; her sisters, Lorraine Leger (Léandre) of Shediac, Germaine LeBlanc (Donald) of Shediac, Léa Poirier (late Rodolphe) of Moncton and Eva MacSween (Bart) of Fredericton; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne slumber room on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne at 7:00pm.
In memory of Stella, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the choice of the donor.
