Sussex, NB- It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sylvie Fougère, 49, of Sussex formerly of Moncton, on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Rachelle (Doiron) Fougère and the late Laurent Fougère.
She had been a hairstylist for over 25 years and loved her profession, she was always optimistic for her future and always had a kind word to say, she had a heart of gold.
Sylvie is survived by her mother, Rachelle (Doiron) Fougère; her sister, Lise Fougère (Normand Gallant) both of Dieppe; her special friend, Steve Clark and his children: Edie, Racine, Preston and Arwen of Sussex; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Laurent Fougère (2010); as well as her precious fur baby Lola (2023).
In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.

I miss you dearly. You are my soul sister. I know you are looking down from heaven on us but I still miss you. We had lots of plans together and I still plan on doing everything with you in mind.

I was lucky to be able to have Sylvie as a client and a colleague over the years. She was so wonderful to be around, always had a smile on her face and the sweetest soul I’ve ever met. She will be missed so dearly. My sympathies to her mother and sister. xo
