Terry Melanson, 57, of Fort McMurray, AB and formerly of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, passed away at home in Fort McMurray on Monday October 4, 2021. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Clarence Melanson and the late Rosa (LeBlanc) Melanson.
Terry worked for 22 years with A.P. Concrete and 15 years in Fort McMurray.
He will be sadly missed by his father Clarence Melanson (Ella) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, one daughter: Lisa Hébert (Manuel) of Saint-Charles, two grandchildren; Josiane and Noah. He also leaves to mourn his two brothers; Michel (Nicole) of Notre-Dame and Kevin (Sylvie) of Moncton as well as one niece; Julie (Jamshid) and one nephew Serge (Christelle).
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday October 27, 2021 from 1 to 2:45 pm, followed by a private funeral service at the funeral home at 3:00 pm. Interment will be in the Saint-Paul-de-Kent parish cemetery.
Proof of vaccination and face mask are mandatory at the funeral home as per the Public Health guidelines.
