In Loving Memory Of
Thérèse Cormier
1943 ~ 2023

Scoudouc, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Thérèse Cormier, 79, that occurred on December 17th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Lakeburn on December 18th, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Josephat LeBlanc and the late Adèle (Doiron) LeBlanc.

She was a teacher’s aid who worked with special children.  She truly cared about each of them. She loved to bake and loved Christmas. She was an outdoors person who got excited about things in nature like seeing a deer in the field or a pretty bird. All her grandchildren fondly remember the “déjeuné à Mémére” she made when they were at the trailer during the summers.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Laurie Cormier; her three daughters: Jackie (Dennis) Richard of Memramcook, Dianne Roberts of Moncton, and Joanne (Robert) Leger of Shediac; her eight grandchildren: Jamie, Sean, Austin, Selina, Denver, Arianna, Maryse, and Stéphane; her great grandchild, Arlo; her brothers and sisters: Ronald (Claudette) LeBlanc, Lillianne (Joe) Vautour, Jeannette (late Alderic) Babineau, Simonne (late Junior) LeBlanc, Phyllis LeBlanc, Bernard LeBlanc, and Sandra (late Ralph) Gillcash; her two brothers-in-law: Jean-Paul (Thérèse) and Raymond (Nicole); as well as several nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her brother, George-Victor (infant).

Visitation will be held from Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative, (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Thursday, December 21st, from 9 to 11 am. Funeral service will follow at the Passage Funeral Chapel at 11 am on the same day.
